A Career Built on Real Field Experience

Dr. Kimberly Long Holt is a senior Industrial Hygienist and Health Physicist with more than 35 years of hands-on experience protecting workers in some of the most demanding and technically complex environments in the country. Her career spans DOE national laboratories, nuclear power utilities, petrochemical and refining facilities, DOD military installations, offshore operations, large-scale environmental remediation projects, and technology and semiconductor industries.

Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Long Holt built her career across the country — working at facilities including SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Chalk River Laboratories in Canada, Limetree Bay in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Amazon's Staten Island operations, among many others. She is the founder and principal consultant of Health and Safety Concepts, an independent consulting practice she has operated since 2008.

What sets Dr. Long Holt apart is the rare combination of deep field expertise and academic achievement. She holds a Doctor of Health Administration from Virginia University of Lynchburg, multiple master's degrees, a Public Leadership Credential from Harvard Kennedy School, and five degrees from Universidad Isabel I through ENEB in Barcelona, Spain. She is an active researcher with 35 peer-reviewed publications and has completed nine journal peer reviews for Web of Science and Scopus indexed journals.

Dr. Long Holt holds 15+ active professional certifications spanning industrial hygiene, safety, health physics, environmental management, risk management, project management, and ergonomics — making her one of the most credentialed practitioners in her field. She is currently based in Vicksburg, Mississippi and serves clients nationwide.
